Two parts Nitrogen one part oxygen, and it also serves a purpose beyond the dentist office and being crammed into your combustion chamber. When nitrous is "transformed" from a liquid to a gas it's approximate temperature is -127F or -83.3C, and either way you look at it is damn cold. Thankfully the great folks at NXpress found a great way to put that juice to use and it is called the N-tercooler.
The idea is to dramatically cool your intake charge before the hot air reaches its very precise doom. With a turbo or supercharged engine busily compressing your intake, the temp. is going to rise and that is not a good thing. Hot air bad, cold air good.... Now that's out of the way, as you know your IC is inbetween your turbo and your intake manifold. What the N-tercooler does is make that charge as cool as it can given the air's brief stay inside the intercooler. Recent dyno results show in up words of 50hp from just the addition of the N-tercooler.
